War veterans who wish to continue their professional careers in the police system turned to the Main Directorate of the National Police in Sumy Region. During a meeting with them, opportunities for employment, returning to work, training and retraining were discussed.
Representatives of the personnel department familiarised the veterans with the hiring procedure and the list of vacant positions that may be offered to them. They separately stressed the importance of creating proper conditions for adaptation, taking into account physical capabilities and professional experience, and ensuring decent pay.
The development of veterans policy is one of the important areas of work of the Sumy Region police. It is not only about supporting veterans, but also about real opportunities for their self-fulfilment, the preservation of professional experience and continued service to society.
Work in this direction will continue. After all, the experience, knowledge and dedication of veterans can continue to be important for the police and the state.
