The grocery anchor of the capital's Ocean Mall shopping center – the “Silpo” supermarket – is preparing to open, as reported to the agency “Interfax-Ukraine” by the retailer's press service

“We plan to open a new ‘Silpo’ store in Ocean Mall, with a store area of up to 5 thousand sq. m. The concept and design are currently at the final stage of development,” the press release says.

“Silpo” is one of the largest supermarket chains in Ukraine, founded in 1998. It is part of the trade and industrial group Fozzy Group. As of July 2025, the chain has 309 supermarkets in 62 cities.

Ocean Mall is a retail facility in the retail resort format. The total area is 300 thousand sq. m, with parking for 4 thousand cars. The mall will combine 800 stores and 50 restaurants. Among the largest tenants are the “Silpo” grocery supermarket and flagship stores of the world's largest retailers in the fashion, sports and home goods segments. More than 30 thousand sq. m in Ocean Mall are devoted to entertainment, including the Galaxy amusement park for the whole family and the 7-screen Multiplex cinema.
