Stanislav Horuna on the SBC Summit in Lviv: “Sport and business must develop together”

Karate Olympic bronze medallist, co-founder of the DuelDuck startup and the Horuna Cup tournament Stanislav Horuna shared his impressions of the first Sport Business Club Summit, held in Lviv. According to Horuna, the scale of the event exceeded his expectations. He stressed that sport and business must develop together, because both spheres need interaction and mutual support.

“For me, sport and business are two spheres that must develop together. Sport needs business, business needs sport! And events like the SBC Summit are exactly the place where they meet, exchange experience and find new opportunities for cooperation,” Horuna said.

The athlete also noted the broad representation at the conference. Participants came to Lviv from different regions of Ukraine, and the guests included representatives of the authorities, the sports community and business.

“I was glad to help organise Lviv’s biggest sports conference. Many people came from all over Ukraine, and representatives of the authorities, the sports community and business took part. It is really great to see so many people interested in the development of sport,” Stanislav Horuna shared.

In conclusion, he thanked the organisers and everyone who took part in preparing the event, and expressed hope that the initiative would continue.

“It turned out great! And this is only the first time. More to come!” Horuna concluded.
