The French-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFU) brought together CCIFU members, diplomats, friends and partners in Kyiv, at the Parkovyi Convention and Exhibition Center, for its traditional annual charity evening Beaujolais Nouveau. For the second year in a row, CCIFU will support the UNBROKEN Ukraine foundation and its project “Prostheses for the Unbreakable.”
This year the French-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also celebrating an important anniversary: 30 years of operation in Ukraine!
The event took place under the high patronage and with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine, Mr. Gaël Veyssière, and brought together about a thousand guests.

Every year, on the third Thursday of November, all of France celebrates Beaujolais Nouveau, the festival of young wine, which marks the end of the grape harvest and the start of a new wine year.
It is at this time that, in the small Beaujolais region north of Lyon, the Gamay grape, a black variety with white flesh, is among the first to ripen.
Beaujolais Nouveau differs from other wines in that it goes on sale immediately after the fermentation process is complete, six weeks after the harvest, and is stored for no more than six months. The tradition of such a celebration originated in 1951.
The French-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ukraine (French: Chambre de commerce française en Ukraine, CCIFU) is a non-profit association whose mission is to promote the growth of investment by French companies in the Ukrainian economy and to create favorable conditions for the development of French companies present on the Ukrainian market or wishing to begin operating in Ukraine.
The French-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ukraine unites more than 130 companies from the agro-industrial complex (Limagrain, Euralis, Mas Seeds), banking (Credit Agricole, Ukrsibbank), the automotive industry (Renault, Michelin), mechanical engineering (Schneider Electric), hospitality (InterContinental Kyiv), tourism and entertainment (France Groupe, Club Med), healthcare (Sanofi), transport (Air France), and trade and other services (Auchan, L’Oreal, Chanel, Danone, Lactalis, Leroy Merlin).
