“Consumables have become up to 20% more expensive, and the cost of maintenance of engineering systems (by licensed third-party companies) by roughly 10%,” he said.
As the main difficulties R-Class faced in 2022-23, Petiukh named unforeseen interruptions in the supply of electricity, heat and water. According to him, in this regard the company pays systematic attention to improving energy efficiency and energy independence. In addition to insulating facades, R-Class specialists ensured and organized uninterrupted power supply to the facilities by reserving electrical capacity from different connection lines from the city, installing additional diesel generators (with capacity from 15 to 160 kW), and installing uninterruptible power supplies (with capacity from 12 kW); they also introduced a backup water supply/drainage system.
The head of R-Class also noted that the introduction of the latest technologies helps to optimize utility costs and extend the service life of buildings. According to him, energy resources are saved by automated heat consumption systems that distribute the heat carrier depending on the consumer's current demands and the outdoor air temperature; an air recuperation system; an automatic gas analysis system in parking areas that switches the supply and exhaust ventilation on and off depending on air contamination; the latest air conditioning systems (VRV systems) that make it possible to heat premises at outdoor temperatures down to -15 in addition to the generally accepted water-based air conditioning system (VRV systems).
